This committee organizes regular demonstrations, workshops and displays. Major events conducted include an annual luncheon with presentations by leading floral designers, live-in seminars, displays at prominent public events such as the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, Flower Festivals at Cathedrals and elsewhere on invitation.
The Society's Annual General Meeting is held in August, or within three months following the end of the financial year, which is June 30th. General Meetings may be convened at any time by the Committee but are usually only called to conduct special business.
Membership is open to anyone with an interest in flower arranging in its many facets. The membership subscription fee is $25, renewable annually from July 1st. For more information or to join as a member, contact our Membership Secretary.
The quarterly newsletter keeps members informed of all activities planned by the Society, and also provides information about other floral events of interest. Relevant articles, reviews and photos make up the content of the sixteen-page newsletter which is mailed to each member's postal address.
